Abstract: This study explores the adoption, by micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Botswana, of open collaborative innovation modalities aimed at enhancing and scaling up of their businesses. The study found that only 27.2% of the 206 enterprises studied belonged to networks, and only 18.9% had engaged in open collaborative innovation.
