Aboubacry Kane is a PhD student in economics at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. He is interested in research issues related to innovation, gender, industrial productivity, international trade, development policies and economic growth. As a Queen Elisabeth Scholar – Advanced Scholars (QES-AS) Fellow, he works on women’s participation in digitalization and digital technologies in Senegal. His PhD thesis focuses on innovation and productivity in manufacturing industries. In addition, he is a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar.
