

Lorraine Matanda is currently doing her Master in ICT Policy and Regulation at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research topic is, “Youth and tech hub perspectives on digital transformation in environments of poverty: A case study of Diepsloot”. Lorraine is particularly interested in the digital economic inclusion of youth in resource-constrained environments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Solusi University and an Honours’ degree in Marketing from the Graduate School of Marketing (IMM GSM). Lorraine also works as a Communications Manager for a global company where she is responsible for the communication strategy and implementation for 22 countries in Africa.
