Before launching KarmSolar in 2011, Ahmed Zahran worked at Shell in London and Tunis, and launched the carbon trading and renewable energy division at Egypt Kuwait Holding Company.
Zahran earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo (AUC), a Master of Science in Economics from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies, a diploma in philosophy and literature from the European College of Liberal Arts in Berlin, and a certificate in social entrepreneurship from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
