Vincent Ifeanyichukwu Oriokpa has made his career in the National Bureau of Statistics and is now serving as an Assistant Director of Statistics. Oriokpa holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Abuja’s National Mathematics Centre, and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He has over 20 years of experience in conducting surveys, including digital questionnaire design, survey and database design, data collection, survey database maintenance, specialized data analysis, as well as the management and analysis of large survey datasets. He is especially skilled at building effective and productive working relational databases.

Over his career, Oriokpa has worked in several projects commissioned by organizations such as the World Bank and UNICEF. Oriokpa is also a member of the Statistical Advisory Committee, Project 2011 Swift Count, helping to ensure that the vote of every Nigerian counts. He likes writing and developing computer programs, with a special interest in hyperspace research and the human mind.
