Emmanuel Makanjuola Ogunjemilua is a PhD Fellow at the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He received a National Diploma in Statistics from Federal Polytechnic Ede, and a BSc in Economics and MSc in Technology Management from Obafemi Awolowo University. Ogunjemilua was also the sole African regional finalist for the Emerging Economies Doctoral Student Award by the Production and Operations Management Society in 2016.

Previously, Ogunjemilua was a freelance research assistant and business development consultant, focused on the development and management of knowledge-based micro and small enterprises in Nigeria. Ogunjemilua has participated in a number of conferences and workshops and is the author of a forthcoming book entitled, “Technical Entrepreneurship: A Panacea for Unemployment in Nigeria”. His main areas of research are knowledge management, innovation, and development studies.
