Tendai Mikioni holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Fort Hare and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Cape Town (UCT). He is a dedicated Research Assistant at the iNtaka Centre for Law & Technology at UCT and serves as an ad hoc Legal Assistant for the Zamani Research Group. Additionally, Tendai contributes as a Research Clerk for the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit. Tendai serves as an Election Assistant for the University of Cape Town’s Student Representative Council and Faculty Council Elections, addressing voter apathy and upholding the principles of integrity and fairness.
Tendai has distinguished himself as an academic tutor and has presented papers at prestigious international conferences. His academic prowess is further highlighted by his participation in numerous domestic and international moot court competitions, adding accolades such as the Best Oralist award and a top-five ranking for Best-Written Memorials to his cabinet.
Outside his professional and academic commitments, Tendai enjoys listening to Taylor Swift and is an avid supporter of both Real Madrid and Manchester United.
