The Open AIR network itself has been something that many have asked us for reflections on before. In line with previous publications on this topic, in September 2018, Chidi Oguamanam and Jeremy de Beer coauthored a book chapter in the The Cambridge Handbook of Public-Private Partnerships, Intellectual Property Governance, and Sustainable Development. The chapter situates the Open AIR network within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals, highlighting how partnership between public-sector and private-sector actors can contribute to development.
